During a routine ultrasound our entire world turned upside when doctors diagnosed baby boy #4 with a variant of HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome), which is a rare and lethal congenital heart defect (CHD).
Due to extraordinary advances in medical science over the past 30 years, our baby’s chances of survival are high if he receives immediate and aggressive intervention upon birth.
We have faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and therefore we are not afraid of death. We are also not afraid to ask the Lord for a miracle for our precious child.
We are not the perfect family nor are we the perfect christians. We believe it is important to share our story with others, so whether we’re in the midst of stumbling or triumphing our goal is to be transparent as we invite you to share this journey with us.
